Graham, the creator of one-shot RPG Under the Autumn Strangely, commissioned me to create this poster. It depicts the progress of a game they facilitated , where two people (Truss and Arthur) travelled through the Never Was and experienced all sorts of unsettling things on the road.

A little bit of visual development for a kids book I was kicking around. The girl’s name is Rowan, and she’s been waiting for autumn for a while.

A few years ago my friend and podcast cohost, Molly Mastel, commissioned this piece to commemorate the end of a long-running D&D game she’d run. She ha commissioned me once before for a shirt design, and I was delighted to return to the Nifty Valley one more time. I put this together in the style of a vintage travel postcard, and she specified a different moment in the campaign for each of the letters to show.

I was commissioned by Savvy Adler to create a header piece for their memoir blog post about their relationship to the musical Hamilton and the darkest days of their life. The piece describes disassociating in the rain and I thought the idea of their colors running like watercolors and breaking the frame could describe that experience visually.

I was commissioned by Molly Mastel to create an illustration that could easily be screen printed onto t-shirts which she could gift to her TTRPG party. She described a wizard’s showbiz scheme to keep several tiny worlds in little pods - The Pods of Elro - and the party’s quest was to make their way through each one. These shirts were meant to look like they could be hanging in Elmo’s gift shop.
